I believe I found you from a comment on Big Mama (maybe?) and have been catching up from the beginning and enjoying it so much! This one made me laugh out loud. I have called my 17 year old son "Fred" since he was about two years old. Far from hurting his feelings, he says he can judge my mood by whether he is greeted with "well hey Fred!" or "Mark _____ ________, get in here!" (Don't judge me!) :-) From his 19 year old sister, it is "ohhhh Freddy Fred Fred Fred!" My husband laughs when friends ask "is Fred a family name?" We don't take time to explain that it came from a children's book about a family naming their pet turtle and somehow it stuck. My husband tries to pretend he doesn't call him that but I just asked him what he wanted for dinner and he answered, "well Fred and Annie are both working so it is just you and me." :-)Tanyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07088929890261880232noreply@blogger.com
